Overthrowing the Scale God
If you think I am going to cower in a corner and feel bad about a number I don't like, think again you blip of injury and economy. I sent that girl packing ten years ago. I did it with the truth that puts a mythic creature like you in its place.
And the truth is: I will train harder, and I will eat smarter, and I will probably sleep less-- but I will not feel bad about how the math works. The math is on my side now.

Scales don't measure success, trends, or wellbeing. Just the specific attraction of your bodies mass to the mass of the planet earth. I often think of it as a boring bit of physics.
